Carl Costello is the president and founder of Greening America. Since 1995, Greening America has worked with government agencies, NGOs, and others to accelerate clean energy and sustainable technologies and best practices that benefit society. Prior to Greening America, Carl worked as the director of the Center for the Environment at the American Institute of Architects, where he coordinated the first international design competition on sustainable communities and led the design charrette for the Greening of the White House, an energy and environmental retrofit of the White House complex under the Clinton-Gore administration.
